GENERAL HOSPITAL FAN WEEKEND BINGO NIGHT!

On Saturday, July 22, Bingo-boy and Belle braved the heat in THE VALLEY in order to bring some bingo joy to a bunch of General Hospital fans who also braved the heat just to see their favorite General Hospital actor and/or actress. The event was at The Sportsman's Lodge and we were OUTSIDE with just the occasional breeze to cool us off. Regardless of the heat, this is out third year and we had a blast. The event benefited The Kurth & Taylor Foundation which helps seriously ill children by providing them with wonderful playsets foor their hospital rooms.

Yes, Belle's parents came to THIS bingo too! They are such sports and did not win a damn thing the entire time they were here.

The event was hosted by General Hospital's Wally Kurth. He has a huge and loyal fan base. I swear, he could have just stood there and breathed and they would have applauded. Nice guy who does great philanthropic work. At the end of each bingo, he auctions off his shirt and give the proceeds to the foundation.

Our door diva for this event was Kay- the Sierra Madre Rose Float door diva. Kay is caught here cooling herself off.

I remember watching General Hospital when Luke and Laura were being held hostage on the island and Elizabeth Taylor made a guest appearance and there was this great character named Monica Quartermaine that I thought was hot. So was I thrilled when Leslie Charleston showed up? You bet! And she was naughty! Love to get her for a Wednesday night at Hammie Em's.

One of the hottest characters on General Hospital is played by Ignacio Serriccio, who came and called a few "bilingual" balls. He is seriously funny and promises to come on a Wednesday night soon.

A CELEBRITY BINGO PARTY IN MALIBU!

On Friday, July 21, Belle Aire and Bingo-boy traveled ALLLLL the way to Broad Beach in Malibu (that's where all of the BIG industry folks like David Geffen and Cher live) for a private party hosted by actress Jami Gertz ("Still Standing," "Twister," and remember "Square Pegs"?) and her husband for his company. The weather was beautiful and we thought you'd like a glimpse of the beautiful surroundings!

This photo is a keeper. How many of you have actually seen Belle Aire eat? Usually the lips are on perfect and therefore no food is touching them. With Belle Aire are her parents, Ken and Phyllis. They are both extremely beautiful and two of the nicest folks you can ever meet. And very supportive of bingo too!

Bingo was played out by the pool which was in the front yard! That's because the backyard is the beach!

This is the view of the backyard and beyond it are sand dunes and then the glorious ocean.

There was something for everyone at this party. Kids had several art projects to choose from and also were able to get henna tattoos. This company treats its employees very well.

Bingo-boy and Jami Gertz were caught by paparazzi in an intimate embrace! Maybe she will become the new Mrs. Bingo-boy!

WEST HOLLYWOOD BINGO WITH MUSIC!

On Wednesday, July 12 Bingo-boy previewed two songs written by Jamie Karen and himself. He met Jamie when she played the role of Linda Lovelace in a workshop production of his musical "Lovelace: The Musical" and discovered her great talent. Jamie and her husband Mark Deklin performed "It's A Good Thing" for both shows and Jamie soloed on "The First Time" for the second show. Bingo-boy and Jamie are now lining up offers for the songs and plan to run away with all the loot they make. Okay, Mark can come too.

Jamie Karen and Mark Deklin sang and called a few balls. This is one great looking couple, yes?

This guy really takes "O-68: You do me and I'll owe you one" seriously! You can find this shirt in the young mens department of Target.
COWBOY BINGO IN PALM SPRINGS

YEE HAH! The Golden State Rodeo Association rolled in to Legendary Bingo for a night of bronco- busting bingo on Monday, July 10. Yes, Palm Springs is hot and so was the crowd! And check out Belle Aire's new balls!

Yes, size does matter but bigger does not necessarrily mean better. Belle Aire was quite confused by the big white balls. She likes hers colored. Oh, well, we'll use this bingo wheel for private parties only.

"Michelle" gingerly sips a soda while holding her dauber. She was parched.

The Mystery Cowboy. What's under that ten gallon hat?

"Lady Ella" was all decked out in her finest western gear. Around her neck was an animal of some kind Growl!

This lovely couple is the reigning Mister and Miss Gay Rodeo. They host BBQ's for the neighbors on the weekends and recently began marriage counseling. Typical suburbanites!
